Privacy Notice
Last updated 17 October 2026. This is a first version for the Karrd beta and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before wider launch.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
- Card details you enter: name, role, company, headline, photo, and the links and contact methods you choose to show.
- Usage events: card views, saved contacts, link clicks and sign ups from a card. We store a one way fingerprint of the visitor's connection to limit abuse and avoid double counting, not the address itself.
- Reports you send about a card.
What is public
Everything on a published card is public to anyone with the link or QR code. Your account email is never shown. You choose which contact methods appear. Cards ask search engines not to index them. You can unpublish or delete your card at any time.
AI suggestions
If you use the AI profile builder, the text you type in that step (and your name and company, where entered) is sent to an AI provider so it can draft a role and headline. We do not keep the text you send; we keep only usage counts, such as when a request was made and how many tokens it used. The provider processes the text under its own terms. Do not include sensitive personal information. AI can make mistakes, so check every detail before you publish.
How we use it
To run your card, let people save your contact, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, understand whether the product works, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it
We use Supabase for the database, authentication and file storage, Vercel for hosting, and an AI provider for suggestions.
Your choices
You can edit, unpublish or permanently delete your card and account from your dashboard. Deleting removes your card, links, photo and account. Usage events linked to your card are detached from it.
